1956 Ford F100 Custom Pick Up DGT6301 VIN F10D6R-16301 this is a beautiful well built Ford pick up when he brought it to the clubhouse. I knew I wanted to buy it. You could just tell looking at it. It was above average. After talking to him, I learned that he owned it for almost 20 years and he did all the work himself, He even painted it and it's better than most paint shop do. I'm not going to tell you it's perfect. It is above average. I told him when I was looking at it. I said I see you installed the headliner? I said I know they are hard to install and he totally agreed with me. I believe this is a case we had more fun doing the work and building this beautiful truck then he did driving it after he finished it. It had only 1049 miles on it since he finished it. He gave us a lot of receipts on a clipboard. Thick. He installed Mustang two front end. Added a 302 Ford V8 engine with a C6 automatic transmission. He installed front disc brakes with a power booster. He also installed a jaguar rear end so it has four-wheel disc brakes. Four wheel independent suspension. He installed headers into a dual exhaust system with magna, flow mufflers, exiting out underneath the running boards. Just so you know, this is a total frame off restoration. He installed bucket seats that I like very much with a consul in the center. He installed over the shoulder seatbelts. Installed a tilt steering column. The black interior sets off the yellow dash. He did not install a radio. He redid the hood mounting so it tilts forward. Installed American racing five spoke cast wheels with BFGoodrich tires really looks good. when he built the truck bed he used carbon fiber looks really nice. Does not have a front bumper, but it does have a chrome rear bumper. I think installing the jaguar rear end just takes his truck to another level. He lowered the truck more in the front than the back and you have to be careful driving it because it is low in the front. It runs down the road really nice it's quiet. It's tight no rattles. He did a great job.
