1967 Austin-Healey
3000 Roadster
Sold
1967 Austin Healey 3000 Roadster. DGC0454. VIN67HBJ8L40454. This car has lived a great garage kept life and it shows. The body is in excellent condition, as well as the very desirable British racing green paint. The previous owner had it in his possession for 45+ years, we have a copy of a certificate of title from 1977. We were told that it hasn't been driven in 5 years. First thing we did was transport the car to Old School Garage, so that Joe could get her up and running again. Joe is good, the first thing he usually does on cars that have been sitting for long periods is replace the gas tank. When he inspected the tank he told us that it had to have been more like 10 years since this Healey had run. He also flushed the fuel line and cleaned the carbs. The engine just purrs now. He also went through the brakes, so they are all in good working order and it will stop safely. Joe also performed a service and safety check on top of the brake work. These Healeys are very in demand right now and they seem to only be gaining in popularity. This is one fun car to drive, it's got great sound, plenty of power for a small roadster, and it's very sporty. We have spent a few bucks making sure this Healey is running well after sitting and we also took the wheels off and sent them to get powder coated. Make sure you go to our webpage dragers.com where you can see over 100 photos of this beautiful Haley hey how are you doing. Cond#2.
