1962 Corvette Roadster 300HP 327 V-8 and 4 Speed. DGC1681 VIN# 20867S101681. This is an above average Corvette. The fiberglass and paint are beautiful. The Corvette was owned by the Chevrolet dealers son who had it for a short time. In the time that the dealers son owned the car he blew the engine, so it was rebuilt. The numbers match on the engine, so it's the original block. We purchased the Vette from the second owners son. He couldn't remember exactly when his dad purchased it, but said it was a year or two from new. We do have registrations dating back to 1971 with his dad's name on them, so that is as far as we can document ownership to his dad. In 1992 a body off restoration was completed. We believe that the 89k miles that show on the odometer are the correct milage, but we don't have any documentation to back that up. We do have pile of receipts for parts that were purchased in the early 1990's. The car looks like it was just restored. Everything seems to be working properly except for the clock. Even the Wonderbar radio works. The car has a black soft top and it's in great shape. The soft top is like new it looks wrinkly in the photos and I believe it's because it's always down and never up if we take it out in the hot sun I'm sure the wrinkles will go away. There is not much you can pick apart on this Vette. There is a small crack on the top of the drivers side front fender. The underside is as nice as the top side. Cond#1-
